Healthy Skin Tips for Today?s Women

Healthy Skin Tips for Today?s Women

The skin is the reflection of your health and our personality. There is no doubt that the skin is most crucial organ that determines our beauty. Besides esthetical factor, the skin is the largest organ of the body. It is linked to all vital functions of the body, and serves numerous functions. It plays a role of protection and exchange.

Everyone would like to have fair skin. However, the ideal skin is rare and natural. I don’t know for men, but women know the importance of radiant skin. For a woman, being uncomfortable in her own skin is like carrying a cross.  Perfect skin does not exist. Even when the appearance is superb, skin always has a small frustrating detail. Either it is too dry or too oily, or it is covered in dark spots or it streak of couperose. The skin is a living organ changing from season to season, depending on age, hormonal fluctuations, diet and your lifestyle

Real beauty shines through a look, a smile, an attitude. It is also expressed through the state of the skin. Unfortunately, over the years, the skin begins to lose its freshness. Even before the wrinkles begin to appear, you may notice spots, rough texture or uneven complexion: fine lines, dark under eye circle, etc.

What can you do?

Contrary to what most people think, having beautiful skin is not waking up one day and using an antioxidant cream for a couple weeks. You need to practice healthy lifetime habits to keep your skin looking soft, smooth and radiant. The following are some of those habits:

Nutrition – A healthy diet has a positive effect on the aging of the skin. To resist the signs of time and ageing, skin must be properly hydrated and nourished. while creams and masks can help, good health of the skin starts with a healthy diet. Eat lots of foods providing oligo-elements, vitamins A, E and C and fatty acids. Eat healthy, make your skin happy! To see the result of your diet, you need to moderate consumption of alcohol and limit sugar intake.

Avoid pollution – The pollution accelerates the aging of the skin. Pollution particles contribute to accelerate the production of the skin free radicals, resulting in skin irritation, tarnished skin and wrinkles. To treat those damages, you need antioxidant creams. When I say, creams, I am not talking about dangerous chemical that will do more harm than good. I meant safe natural antioxidant creams, which can fight against the formation of free radicals, and act as filters between the skin and pollution to ensure a younger skin.

Skin hydration – It is essential to hydrate your skin. Skin hydration is one of the best weapons against skin damages. It helps to preserve the flexibility and firmness of the skin of the face. In addition to the daily use of skin moisturizer, drink plenty of fresh juice; no sugar please. Give yourself a time of relaxation during the day. Many researches confirm that people who have a habit of relaxing in the evening or taking  a nap in the afternoon tend to have less wrinkle and suffer less from stress.

Avoid Prolonged Sun Exposure – Protecting skin from the sun helps to preserve its youth. Sun exposure is responsible for nearly 80% of the marks of age! They are mostly UVA that act in this sense. Penetrating deeply into the skin, they promote the release of free radicals. So, to protect your skin during sunshine, apply sunscreen. If possible, avoid all prolonged exposure to the sun, because not only minor damages, overexposed to UVA rays can cause skin cancer.

Looking For Healthy Skin? Here’s 3 Healthy Skin Tips

Looking For Healthy Skin? Here’s 3 Healthy Skin Tips

So many women want to know how to get great looking skin without actually realizing that what they are trying to achieve is healthy skin. So here’s 3 healthy skin tips.

Because healthy skin exhibits all the characteristics that you want. Its younger looking skin. Its skin that glows and feels good to wear. Its skin that resists wrinkles and lines more than unhealthy skin.

You just feel great about your looks, and yourself, when your skin glows with health.

So many women think of getting great looking skin without making the link between how her skin looks, and how healthy her skin is. You cant have great looking skin that is unhealthy.

As promised, here’s 3 healthy skin tips.

1. You can’t have healthy skin if you’re unhealthy.

It may sound a little trite but if youre healthy your skin will be more healthy too. If youre unhealthy this will show in your skin.

You know what you have to do. It all affects your skin.

Improve your diet, drink plenty of water.

And it may sound a little silly but more exercise translates to better skin. Why? Because exercise improves blood circulation and your skin relies on good blood circulation.

2. Avoid 2 of the worst things you can ever do for your skin.

What are they? Smoking and sunburn, both just terrible for good skin. It’s really hard to have great looking skin if it’s regularly sunburned and you smoke.

3. Find the right vitamins for healthy skin and use them.

Without making a list here there are various vitamins and other nutrients that are very good for skin health. For example were sure you know all about omega 3 oils, who doesnt. But did you know that omega 3 oils are extremely good for your skin too?

Although it’s difficult to get all the nutrients that are important for healthy skin there is a way to do it.

Use the best all natural skin care products.

So why should you be using the best natural skin care products? Because big brand skin care products may contain ingredients that are suspect or dangerous to your health, and to your skin.

Science knows about a wide range of nutrients that are essential to great skin health, and the best natural skin care products contain these nutrients.

And the worlds best natural skin care products, as well as providing a wide range of essential skin nutrients, don’t contain suspect ingredients.

There’s is no magic formula to having great looking healthy skin. Follow these simple rules and you’ll have great looking skin right into old age, and you’ll feel great and look great.

If you’re healthy and do the right things for your skin it will show.

These are 5 of my tips (in no particular order) to help you achieve healthy, clear skin and prevent breakouts. This will not help you cure acne or other more serious skin problems, but they are just general tips for healthy skin :) 1. Diet – cut back on greasy/fried and spicy foods. Try to eat more nutritious foods with vitamins A, B, C, and E. 2. Water – drink lots of water to help your body naturally cleanse. 3. Sleep – get a decent amount of sleep regularly to help your body heal and fight off germs. 4. Contact – take preventative actions to minimize contact between your face and anything that is dirty or can carry bacteria. Wash your face regularly. 5. Moisturize – to maintain your skin’s natural balance of oils and moisture…otherwise your skin will go on overdrive producing oil and can cause breakouts! By the way, just to clarify…when I mention “diet” in this video, it refers to what you eat on a regular basis (not as in “go on a diet”). Thanks for watching! How to Choose Natural Beauty Products for Glowing Skin and Healthy Hair

How to Choose Natural Beauty Products for Glowing Skin and Healthy Hair

Mainstream skin and hair care products are laden with many chemicals that more and more women are turning to the idea of natural beauty.  Natural beauty refers to the practice of using only organic ingredients for your skin and hair.

We have outlined a few tips when choosing natural beauty products for smooth, glowing skin and healthier hair…

The Facial Cleanser:
The face is often more sensitive than the skin on the rest of the body, so the face must be treated with extra care.  For smooth, clear skin, look for a cleanser that does not dry the skin and is not too harsh.  Castile soap or glycerin both work very well for cleaning the face without robbing it of precious moisture.  Castile soap is an olive oil based soap, while glycerin is a kind of soap specifically for sensitive skin. Both these types of soaps can be made at home.

The Exfoliator:
Adding exfoliation to your daily skin care routine can help boost your skin’s vibrancy and vitality.  Exfoliating removes the top layer of dead skin, which blocks off oxygen and sunlight to the healthy skin below, thereby giving your face a dull appearance.  Exfoliating before cleansing will strip off this unnecessary layer and provide you with naturally glowing skin. In choosing an exfoliator, look for one that is primarily composed of natural ingredients. Sample a pea-sized amount, and rub between your fingers. The consistency should be grainy without sharp and uneven particles that could potentially scratch the skin. You could actually make your own exfoliator using papaya and a few ingredients you normally find at home: Papaya Beauty Mask for Glowing Skin

The Sunscreen:
Always keep your skin protected from the damaging rays of the sun.  Direct sunlight can burn out the pigmentation in certain spots of the skin, leading to unsightly age spots and white patches.  There are many natural sunscreens available today, both chemical and mineral-based sunscreens. Choose a mineral-based, because it is gentler on the skin and causes less allergic reactions. Active ingredients to look for in mineral-based sunscreens: zinc oxide and titanium oxide.

The Shampoo:
Using a shampoo is essential for clean, healthy hair. However, most shampoos in the market are made from petroleum-derived chemicals and ingredients possibly linked to cancer and other health problems. Avoid ingredients like BHA and parabens. Choose a shampoo made of plant-based ingredients and essential oils. You can also make your own herbal beauty rinse to restore your hair’s natural PH balance.

The Hair Dye:
Natural hair coloring is also available as a healthier alternative to chemical-based dyes. Choose a hair color brand that uses extracts of vegetables, plants and herbs, with minimal chemicals. These brands usually do not contain ammonia, hydrogen peroxide and PPD (p-Phenylenediamine), which have caused allergic reactions in some people.

In shifting from chemical-based to natural beauty product alternatives, always check the label for natural ingredients. Organic beauty products, as well as homemade alternatives, are great options for you to use in your daily beauty regimen for smooth, glowing skin and healthier hair.
